Return Policy

General

DecorWerks understands that sometimes our customers will be unsatisfied with their purchase or they may make mistakes in their orders. To help you order with confidence, we offer a 30 day return window on all purchases.

Return Process

Please contact us within the 30 day return period at Info@decorwerks.com to initiate a return.  We will provide an RMA number and address to return the merchandise to us. We will issue a refund after inspecting the items assuming the following conditions are met:

  • All returned merchandise must be unused, undamaged, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.
  • Customers are responsible for all costs of shipping, packaging, and insurance for both outgoing and return shipments.
  • Your refund will be processed by the same method of payment from your original purchase unless cash, check, or cryptocurrency was used for your order.
  • Returns where the original payment was cash or check will be processed as a mailed refund check.
  • Returns where the original payment was any form of cryptocurrency will be processed as a mailed refund check for the original USD value of the purchase. We can not be held liable for changes in cryptocurrency value.
  • All orders shipped to countries besides the continental US, Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada are non returnable. We strongly recommend you request a sample before placing larger orders.
  • Returns requested after 30 days will be handled on a case by case basis.  We reserve the right to refuse any return after 30 days for any reason we see fit.
  • You must be the original purchaser of the items.

To complete your return, we may require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

 

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.  If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.  The speed of the refund will depend on the type of payment you used for the original purchase.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@decorwerks.com.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will need to reorder for you or

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to the address we provide.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If we provide a return label and you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should use a trackable shipping service and purchase shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item or that it will arrive undamaged.  No refunds will be given for damaged items but if you purchase insurance the shipping carrier may provide reimbursement. We will provide photos of items damaged during return shipment to you but you will be responsible for filing for the insurance claim.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you will vary.

Used Items

Any  product that has been installed cannot be returned. DecorWerks® is not responsible for product damage, property damage, or lost labor costs due to incorrect installation. Claims for damage or missing items must be made upon delivery of product. Inspect all products before installation as any use will constitute acceptance. Installed products are considered the property of the owner/installer and cannot be exchanged or returned for any reason.

Cancellations

Orders cancelled before shipment can be cancelled without penalty. If you decide to cancel an order, please email us at info@decorwerks.com.  Once an order has been picked up by or handed off to the carrier, cancellations are no longer possible. DecorWerks will charge all shipping fees as part of the return once an item has been shipped.

Refused Orders

Do not refuse shipments! If your shipment arrives damaged, email us immediately for assistance so we can get replacements sent to you. For more information on damaged items please view our Damage Policy.  All refused shipments are subject to a 15 percent restocking fee.
